Canada Weed Online

Be careful when buying marijuana online. There is a global increase in fraudulent websites akin to the unwanted growth of weeds in a garden. Nonetheless, this analogy is purely figurative, as these websites do not represent authentic sources for purchasing weed on the internet.

Canada is no different, in that many innocent people are being scammed.

Let’s review some of the top Canadian Online Weed sites, and determine if they are legit or scams.

GetKush – Legit or Scam?

This site on first appearance, looks to be the real deal. It has an excellent layout, with clear images running across the top, with concise categories to choose from. What makes this site stand out are the mix and match deals towards the bottom of the homepage. Rarely do online weed sellers offer a mix and match of weed, so I was surprised to see this new marketing strategy.

In addition, GetKush also offers a sign up to their newsletter. This is a new marketing strategy, that I have never come across with other online weed sellers.

I always, look towards the bottom of the homepage to determine if this is a legitimate site, and I must admit, it is the most thorough site for selling wide I have ever seen.

Ordering and Delivery

The ordering and delivery is extremely simple. Place your order and delivery is fast and efficient.

The quality of the weed is something that I would not rave about. They didn’t deliver the correct mix and match that I ordered. Quite disappointing, and to be honest, it felt like being scammed.

Conclusion: is a borderline Scam

LegalOnlineCannabisDispensary – Legit or Scam?

Is this the longest domain name that has ever been used? Whilst the length of a domain name does not determine if a site is legit or not, it does feel a little odd.

Looking beyond the name itself and at the site, there is a degree of old school coding about it – not flashy by any means. The layout is not easy to follow, and the images are overlayed with “BUY this” and “BUY that”.

Headers are also blocky and the content is extremely wordy. Although, I must admit, this does give the impression of a legimate dispensary.

However, I’m skeptical because the logo is absolutely atrocious. I would imagine any legitmate weed seller would put in the effort to create a credible logo.

I’m also skeptical, because they purport to sell to Australia. Without any doubt, it is illegal to send any cannabis products to Australia. Hence, they cannot deliver on their claim to service Australia.

Though it might be possible, that this site could deliver to Canada, it is a very risky site to use. And therefore we would recommend avoiding this site.

Conclusion: is a Scam for Australians. Borderline scam for Canadians.

BulkWeed – Legit or Scam?

This is a relatively new online weed seller to Canada, having only launched late 2022. This site is very well designed, and offers a sign up to their newsletter upon landing. Looking further, the site offers a great range of mix and match. It also has a bunch of user reviews, in which it uses to substantiate its legitimacy and the quality of their cannabis products.

By far the majority of these user reviews appear to be genuine. However, it is extremely difficult to 100% ascertain because of how new this site is.

Though a new site does not necessarily mean that it is a scam, it is hard to trust when it has yet to build a reputation.

If you were to buy from this site, first purchase a small amount to play it safe and not risk losing a substantial amount of money. Once you are comfortable that they are authentic, then continue to purchase larger quantities (if you wish).

Conclusion: BulkWeed is too new to ascertain. Try with a small purchase first.

Herb Approach – Legit or Scam?

Herb Approach is relatively new. Launched in mid 2021, the site gradually grown a presence that is slightly more established than BulkWeed.

Although, the site appears to be less advanced and polished than other legitimate competitors (and even scam sites). What I would like to see is, where are you based, what is your address, what is the incorporated company and so forth. This information is vital, to give assurance to buyers that Herb Approach is legitimate. Perhaps this information is there, but is it extremely hard to find.

On further investigation, this site is actually a copy of another cannabis distributor in Canada -Cannabismo. The products are exactly the same including images, pricing and delivery.

There have been some customer reviews that claim to be satisfied with their edibles, however the buds are terrible. Herb Approach has therefore developed a reputation of a low quality online seller. Though they are not technically a scam site, you definitely getting the quality that you are paying for.

Conclusion: Herb Approach is legit, but their quality is terrible.

Cannabismo – Legit or Scam?

Cannabismo is one of the older online cannabis dispensaries servicing Canadians. They claim to offer the widest range of cannabis products, that includes flowers, concentrates, edibles, and accessories.

Cannabismo also claims to offer the highest quality of products at reasonable prices with a focus on customer satisfaction by being discrete and efficient with delivery.

We briefly mentioned Cannabismo in the Herb Approach review, whereby we noticed that the two sites are a copy of each other with their products. Whilst, many companies create different brands of their own products, to have them exactly same is not quite platable.

Having read many reviews, it’s clear that the quality of Cannabismo has been decreasing over the years. Complaints often are about speed of delivery and how the buds are filthy and terrible causing nausea and headaches.

It’s understandable why Cannabismo has attempted to replicate it’s site with Herb Approach i.e. with a terrible reputation, it’s easier to start afresh with new branding.

Conclusion: Cannabismo is legit, but their quality is terrible.

Haute Health – Legit or Scam?

Haute Health is one of the leading MOM sites in Canada, established in 2020. Overall it has received positive reviews from many customers. The reviews mostly praise Haute Health for its quality for their quality products, fast and discreet shipping, and excellent customer service.

Once you land on the site, you will be greeted with a professional design with a promotional offer at the top of the home page. Underneath you will find a wide range of cannabis products on offer, including what appears to be huge discounts. These discounts seem too good to be true. Either the previous prices were over inflated, or competition has been extremely fierce and they are trying to meet the market by being competitive.

Haute Health is the best low risk dispensary in Canada. As with all MOM’s we strongly recommend buying a small sample first.

Conclusion: Haute Health is legit.

How do I check if the site is licensed for Canadians?

To check if an online cannabis seller is licensed, you can visit the government or regulatory body’s website in the province or territory where the seller is located. In Canada, the federal government licenses cannabis producers, while the provinces and territories regulate the distribution and sale of cannabis.

Here are the steps you can follow to check the license of an online cannabis seller:

  1. Identify the province or territory where the seller is located.
  2. Visit the website of the relevant regulatory body in that province or territory. For example, in Ontario, the regulatory body is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and in British Columbia, it is the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB).
  3. Look for a list of licensed cannabis retailers or distributors on the regulatory body’s website. This list may be searchable by region or name of the company.
  4. Look for the name of the online seller you’re interested in and check if they appear on the list of licensed retailers or distributors.
  5. If the seller is licensed, their license number and other relevant details should be displayed on the list. You can cross-check this information with the seller’s website to confirm their license.

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of an online seller, you can also contact the regulatory body directly to confirm their license status.
