It is legal to use and possess cannabis in Victoria for medical purposes with a prescription from an authorised medical practitioner.
However, cannabis remains illegal for recreational use in the state. Possession of cannabis is punishable by a range of penalties, including fines and imprisonment, depending on the amount and circumstances of the offense.
Additionally, cultivation and trafficking of cannabis are serious criminal offenses that carry severe penalties.
It is important to note that laws and regulations regarding cannabis are subject to change, and it is recommended to stay informed of any updates or changes to the laws.
Online Sites Selling Cannabis in Victoria
Victoria is a state with many sites selling cannabis, CBD oil, weed, seeds, and other marijuana products.
Given, the laws in Victoria, you will need to be careful when reviewing and transacting with weed sellers.
There are some scam sites that specfically target Melbournians, such as Melbourne Stoner.
Other sites, operate with a broader spectrum, but target Victorians with keywords for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
We outline some of the online sites selling weed to Victorians.
MelbourneStoners

As the name suggests, this site is dedicated for Melbournians.
It is a very nice looking site, that is pleasing to the eye, and immediately suggests that this is a trustworthy seller. There are several discounts to choose from, that can be applied to a wide range of weed strains, edibles and other products.
That said, it’s loaded with keyword stuffing that is a Search Engine Optimisation method to rank higher on Google. Many dodgy sites do this, to push their sites high on a Google search, to then scam innocent buyers.
Though MelbourneStoners is a dedicated site for Melbournians, this site is a scam.
Conclusion: MelbourneStoners.com is a scam
MrCannabisAustralia

Mr Cannabis Australia is an extremely well designed and professionally marketed site that is accepting all buyers from Australia, i.e. all States and Terrioritories.
It differs from many other online sellers of cannabis because it doesn’t overtly use keyword SEO stuffing. You can’t see the random phrases, such as Buy Weed Australia, Buy Cannabis Australia, Buy Weed Melbourne, and so on spread across the site.
However, this does not mean, they have hidden these words and placed them in a corner, away from your eyes, to keep the look and feel professional.
MrCannabisAustralia has therefore progressively become higher in searches in Victoria, because it easily comes across as a reputable site.
Though I have no concrete evidence, it is highly likely that many buyers have been scammed with using MrCannabisAustralia.
Conclusion: MrCannabisAustralia.com is a scam
BuyWeedAu

BuyWeedAu (also known as Buy Weed Australia) is the number one ranking result for buying weed online in Victoria (and in Australia).
I’m not sure why this site ranks so high, because it has so many random keyword phrases scattered around the site, under different categories.
These keyword stuffing methods of optimising a website are usually banned by Google and normally the site would not appear in any search results. However, BuyWeedAu continues to be listed (and listed high) drawing in many unsuspecting buyers.
BuyWeedAu is a site that does not illegally sell cannabis, because they do not even deliver any product. This site takes your money, and once taken they cut off communication with you.
Whilst they have not broken any laws of illegally selling cannabis, they have stolen your money.
Conclusion: BuyWeedAu is a scam site.
How to Find a Trusted seller
There are several ways to buy cannabis in Victoria. However, unforunately buying cannabis directly online is not available because it is illegal.
To purchase cannabis legally, contact your GP (General Practitioner) to discuss. They will be able to advise and guide you.
